The 2016 St Stephen’s School Winter Junior Tournament was a great event with lots of new and old faces 🙂 A big thank you to St Stephens School for allowing these events to happen twice a year! It was great to see some under 10’s playing in the under 15’s division and still doing so

The First Blitz Junior GP Tournament was a great day of chess! Had a great turnout in the under 10’s and under 12’s divisions. As there was only 2 players in the under 15 division the under 15’s and under 12’s had to be combined for this tournament. Hopefully we get to see some more under 15

The 2016 Southern River Junior Tournament was a great day with plenty of exciting games of chess. Many of the players who had to go up a division due to their rating had an outstanding result. The 2015 Christmas Junior Tournament was an excellent way to end the 2015 chess year! It was great to see new and returning faces enjoying great fun and exciting games. The 2015 Sixth Blitz Junior GP Tournament was a great tournament with many close games and the end of year awards being decided right down to the last games at this tournament. It was a very exciting and close finish in places for the GP Series and the Player of the Year and Most Improved Player

The 2015 St Stephen’s School Summer Junior Tournament had only 12 players but even with the lower numbers it was a great day of chess!
